3. It is not known which sketches and drawings Theo had meanwhile received (cf. letters 173 and 175). One of them was a drawing with the motif seen in the letter sketch Man putting potatoes in a sack (F - / JH 60), which Vincent had sent to Theo in October 1881 (letters 175 and 199).
