2. Rev. Van Gogh was called to the Reformed Congregation at Nuenen and accepted the call on 7 June 1882, after which he took up his duties on 12 August. The family must have moved at the beginning of August, and on 7 August Rev. Van Gogh, his wife, Cor and two servants were registered at the Civil Registration in Nuenen as living at the address De Berg F 523. They were followed by Willemien on 22 November.
