1. Bernardus Blommers, no. 10 in the membership records, is listed as a ‘regular’ member of the society. See Archief Pulchri, inv. no. 59-289, October 1881 - September 1882. The intended viewing never took place (see letter 217).
2. Van Gogh’s estate contains numerous prints by English illustrators. Most of the prints by the three artists mentioned come from issues of The Graphic published in the 1870s: 22 prints after works by Hubert von Herkomer, 3 after Francis Montague Holl and 5 after George du Maurier.
